TENNIS HOT SHOTS
For younger children we offer the Tennis Hot Shots coaching programme. Tennis Hot Shots is the national starter tennis programme for New Zealand children. The programme uses smaller courts, shorter racquets and softer balls than normal. Sessions are made up of tactical, technical, fun and social elements which create developmental readiness in children. We adhere to lesson plans that have been designed by player and coach development experts worldwide.
TINY RACKETS
AGE 3 - 5
(30 min session)
During this stage children will work on the basic fundamentals of Tennis. These fundamentals consist of balance, movement and coordination. We adapt the class to this age group by utilising beanbags, balloons and big balls. Parents/caregivers are required to be on court assisting in tasks if child requires.

RED RACKETS
AGE 5 - 8
(45 min session)
During this stage children will work on the basic fundamentals of Tennis. These fundamentals consist of balance, movement and coordination. ORANGE RACKETS
AGE 8 - 10
(1 hour session)
In the Orange stage the ball bounces higher (50% compression) and children play over the regular sized net on a three quarter length court. This class is designed for children who are aged 8 - 10 , unless the player has progressed out of Red stage. Players in Orange Rackets are taught more advanced techniques, tactics and movements. We help grow the players confidence to serve, rally, score.

GREEN RACKETS
AGE 11 - 13
(1 hour session)
In the Green stage players use a 75% compression ball and play on a full-size tennis court. The class is designed for older children who are relatively new to tennis or younger players who have progressed through the stages of Red and Orange. The class is focused on preparing the player to be match ready for Interclub.

JUNIOR TENNIS
For older children or children that have mastered the Hot Shots levels, full compression balls are used.
We have three junior levels that will develop the basic skills, technique and tactics required to play interclub.
CHALLENGER
RACKETS
AGE 11+
(1 hour session)
The Challenger programme is designed for players who are competent and who are already playing Interclub. For example can serve, rally, score and can attain a 10 shot rally.

The Elite programme works with players who are advanced in their skill level. Players must be able to rally for 20+ balls and must possess a strong tactical awareness.

GTC FREE JUNIOR MATCH PLAY
(1 hour session)
This organised match play session is free for GTC members to attend. Junior players must be able to serve, rally score. Please book via the playtomic app. If you have any issues please text Emma on 021335697

SCHOOL HOLIDAY CLINICS
Need to keep the kids entertained in the school holidays? Our school holiday camps are fully supervised and are a great way to get the kids out of the house to participate in some physical activity. Our programmes are focused on skill improvement with a whole lot of fun thrown in!
PRIVATE COACHING
Private tennis lessons are for anyone who wants to improve their tennis skill set faster. We will personalise the lesson to your particular objectives whether it be to improve specific technical aspects of your game or to generally improve your overall ability.
GROUP PRIVATE
Group privates are for more than one person (sometimes a team) wanting a private lesson with a coach. Groups are usually smaller in size (up to 4 people) to ensure a high level of coaching quality is maintained. We will personalise the session based on the groups goals and objectives.
